Nolan rats out Grandma. "Shoot Mommy!"

Wow, it's been almost a whole month since my last post. I'm so much less motivated to blog when I can't include any of the pictures that I've taken. My computer is completly disassembled and we are still living at my parents house until the wood floors are finished. When will that be? We're hoping before Gabby is due in April. Yeah, depressing, I know.

In the meantime, Nolan has been introduced to a whole host of new movies at Grandma & Papa's house. I headed out to the store to deliver dinner to Martin and get some grocery shopping done so my mom stayed home with Nolan and put on a movie. My mom had been dying to show Nolan Bambi and this was her opportunity.

After some very nice alone time (even if it was at a construction zone of a house and a grocery store) I returned back to my parent's house. When I asked Nolan how the movie was there was a funny pause and exchange of looks between my mom and Nolan. My mom explained that it was all going just fine but when Bambi couldn't find his mommy Nolan got very upset and ran to the door crying, "I go with mommy!" My mom explained to him that I had left quite some time ago and would be back soon. He would have to just wait for me. "He was fine until Bambi couldn't find his mom" she repeated. Nolan looked at her and then back at me with very big eyes, "Shoot Mommy!" he insisted. My mom shrugged and admitted that yes it was the fact that Bambi's mom was shot that had gotten him so upset. "No Grandma, No find" "Shoot Mommy"

He seemed to get over the trauma fairly quickly and it was actually very funny to see him ratting out Grandma and her soft version of the events that had happened that night.
